Memories with music

While going through some books in library I read this book called "100 things to do before you die"and one of the must to be done things was learn a musical instrument.Actually I had always been influenced by music and that was the only thing that walloped me always.suddendly when I was doing post graduation and always wanted to learn music but didn't get much time, so that was the moment I decided that I will do it as there won't be any time ever. I brain stromed a little about the kind of musical instrument I should start with. Lost in the thoughts I arrived at the time when I was barly 5 and saw this beautiful violin Toy,red in colour which had music already stored that could be played with a punch of button and had a yellow bow, used to play the violin manually. That was the only toy I ever asked my mom to buy for me and the only lasting toy with me.I used to play with it for hours without letting my siblings touch it.when you have siblings one has to share one's toys well that violin was the only toy that was only mine,I never got bored of it. Then another musical instrument influenced me was guitar. After our school we had to pass through a passage to th exit door where two of our techers practiced guitar singing songs and i would stand there listening them.Normally I would run to the exit door to reach hoe sooner but after that day I always stayed for some time and listened them singing and then run to the exit door this carried on for a week and ended, but i missed it like hell. Later came drums, I had this relative drumin my house for a small period of time and would play it as much as I could.I was scolded several times due to the noise I made but I loved it.later the relative came and the drums were gone. Now I am still confused what to learn.lets see I think I'll enjoy every instrument equally.

"Interpretation"

I am not gonna vent about law today because of a daily soap's "interpretation" of legal world. It was so funny that I couldn't stop laughing I was watching a daily soap today which had a court scene then I realized how dumb can the producers be as every thing regarding the court is fake. The "Lawyers" were just throwing allegations on each other and the judge wasn't even bothered it took almost whole thirty minutes. The evidence wasn't even registered they bought the evidence and it was accepted, cross questioning was done without any permission and relevancy.

It was stupid but made my day after all I was once inspired to be a lawyer by one of these shows. This proves that if laughing in the court wasn't contempt of court everyone would laugh.

Studying Law

When I first shifted to Kathmandu from Delhi it was an splendid experience I loved the Beauty and climate of kathmandu which it very subtle just like the city itself. But my goal was something else it was to get myself into a good law school, which didn't take me long as there are only two law schools in kathmandu and I was eligible for one only so my problem to find and get admission was done as i got admission to the college and stared the college the very next day I found my class very absurd and disturbing as it was filled with the student almost 10-30 yrs older than me, me being 22.
It made me think that why don't the youngsters apply in the law school, whereas MBA colleges have tough competition to get into.As for me law is a passion and very limited people follow their passion by studying law,but later i realized Law in Nepal isn't much sought after course unlike other countries here, people study law just to get themselves a good job in NGOs or other government offices. only 5% of the students in my college want to pursue legal field, thats because of the bad political condition of Nepal, where law and constitution hasn't been amended much and people still consider sorting their problem without any legal help as a legal case would be just be the wastage of money. So, here in Nepal lawyers are just for the rich, and who can afford the money and time. I just hope the perception changes before I graduate from the law school and hope to indulge something for my evolving country.

Keeping My Fingers Crossed

This phrase "keep my fingers crossed" has been used in my life several time, whenever I have to make any decision I use the same but today its different as its the most crucial period in my career.
As you know life has been little harsh to me as I have to work harder everyday without much accomplishment.I has always been very passionate about law and has always enjoyed studying law but practicing law is a very different approach of law. A lawyer whose work is to convince the judge to make a decision doesn't have any right to judge a client.I don't know what is it, we just trust them and assure that they will win the case and work very hard to find any loopholes in the case as its a race and we got to win it.
Today I got to work with my boss on a case which seems to be a great case to start but my determination has been shaken,so I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

My First Internship Experience

Hi friends today was my first day at a law firm as an intern with much difficulty and lots of mails I was able to land this intern position and was very happy to get the position at one of the most reputed firms here.I reached the office on time and was excited to do some important stuff as a law student but when I reached there my boss just introduced me to other colleagues and gave me a 14 years old case and asked me to make notes on it as well as to maintain all the files properly, so I made the notes and wasted my whole day maintaining the files. I was quite certain that I will get to see come intellectual action form my seniors but was disappointed, well no grudges lets see if i get to see some action tomorrow.

Worst Inside Us

It’s been long time since I was in 12 standards, I used to study in a boarding school in Rajasthan, and it was a girl’s school. One of the most reputed schools in India for girls. Girls’ school wasn’t my idea but I had a family tradition which led me to the school. At first I was reluctant about it but later I realized it was far more fun than my previous school, we had lot to do and lot to learn so we enjoyed it .

But there have been incidents then but I understand them now, what they meant. When I was in 11th standard I was sharing, my room with Neha, she was a very good friend of mine and used to stay jubilant all the time, she was a great friend of mine. We used to share a lot of things, one day she told me about her family and and how she carves to meet them. She told me that just like me she wasn’t prepared to come here and was forced to the school by her parents who were going through divorce so that it doesn’t have any impact on her. She always seems sad and disturbed when she talked about her parents and family. She was the only child of her parents.

One day while we were sleeping she started to shout loudly and screamed “she is following me, she will kill me” I was very afraid and I tried to wake her up thinking she must have some bad dream but she wasn’t waking up and kept screaming so I ran out and called out the warden as we entered my room, warden tried to wake her up but she didn’t respond and then she threw a full glass of water on her face, which woke her up and she was fine. Later that night she apologized for her behavior and said it was just a nightmare, for some days it was fine again and I forgot that incident but after 1 week later while we were doing our assignment Neha and Rita had some differences of opinion, so they were discussing to do the assignment better but again she started screaming at Rita and said that she is trying to kill her, she is jealous of her. We tried to console her but she couldn’t after sometime our teachers calmed her down. Since then Neha would do that repeatedly but our warden claimed that this is just an act so that we would send her home but we were terrified and thought she definitely is cursed. I changed my room and stayed away from Rita her condition got worse and she would do so regularly screaming that somebody is following her and everyone was trying to kill her so, next month her parents were reported about her activities and they took her home forever

Now after 10 years later I understood the reason for her behavior, that time she was suffering from schizophrenia, , a physiological condition which makes a person hallucinate .i feel very sorry for my behavior with her and wished we could detect it in her early stages and helped her to get over it. I just wish she is fine now and living her life peacefully and fully recovered.

Today almost 2 people out of 10 are suffering from schizophrenia, but due to ignorance people consider it nature of people or an act of stubbornness. Social withdrawal, sloppiness of dress and hygiene, and loss of motivation and judgment are all common in schizophrenia. There is often an observable pattern of emotional difficulty, lack of responsiveness. Sometimes the person becomes very violent towards the near ones .there have been cases where a boy aged 18 due to pressure from school used to beat his parents on regular basis and the parents considered it as an act of adolescence. Another case where a husband used to beat his wife on regular basis after death of his parents but wife considered it his nature and continued living like this.

It makes people associated with the patient's life hell, I just hope people detect the symptoms and would be able to help the patient properly.
